5th Annual Cellar Hole Hikes

5th Annual Cellar Hole Hike with Preston & Brenda Conklin of the WVHS

• When: Sunday, September 3rd, 2023  
• Times: 10am AND 1pm (Yes, there are 2 separate times offered!)
• Where: Meet at the parking pull-off at the junction of Route 49 and Upper Mad River Road, just over the WV/Thornton Town line. This 3-mile hike will take about 2.5 hours, depending on questions. Visit the "cellar holes" of some of Waterville's earliest settlers and learn about their history. Includes a stop at the Old Waterville Cemetery. Hikers should bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
